You are God’s creation.  However, as beings in fleshly bodies we have sin in our lives.  God hates sin (Romans 8:8-9).  Therefore, before this world was created God chose to send His son, Jesus Christ, to be the Savior of the world (John 1:1-5).  Jesus lived a life facing the temptations we face today.  Perfection was how He lived.  Sin did not describe our Lord (Hebrews 4:15).

Therefore, in order for us as sinners to have reconciliation with God, Jesus was sacrificed on a cross to forgive the sins of the world.  The righteous one was crucified for the unrighteous (1 Peter 3:18).  Jesus was buried in the borrowed tomb of Joseph of Arimathea and He arose on the third day following His crucifixion.  The power of death could not conqueror our King.

Forty days Jesus walked the earth following His resurrection.  Spread the Good News was His message to His followers (Matthew 28:16-20).  Jesus was taken up into a cloud where he ascended into to Heaven to be exalted above all powers.  One day, at a time only God knows, Jesus will return on the clouds (Revelation 1:7).  He’s coming back to harvest God’s children.

Sin and the power of Satan do not have to rule over you.  The free gift of salvation is available for your acceptance.  It doesn’t matter if you’re red, yellow, black, white, rich or poor. There are no dividing walls for God’s children (Ephesians 2:14).  Regardless of your track history, God gives you an opportunity (a free gift) to be His child. He wants to live a never-ending life of joy with you in Heaven.  Accept Christ as your Savior and let God transform you in your journey with Him.

To accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and to become a Child of God, the Bible instructs you to:

BELIEVE that Jesus is Gods son and that he came to this earth as a sacrifice for sin – Mark 16:16

REPENT or admit you need to change your life – Acts 17:30

CONFESS that Jesus is Lord – Romans 10:9-10

BE BAPTIZED for the forgiveness of sin in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirt.  Bury the old life and emerge a new being in Christ – Acts 2:38

Stay faithful to God after you accept the gift.  Don’t give up your hope in Christ and return to your old way of life.  Let God lead you and share your story with others!  Christ shed blood will continue to forgive your sins if you repent & seek God’s forgiveness while remaining faithful.
