Ultimately our passion is to glorify God (1 Corinthians 10:31).  This is the purpose of our existence and we make every facet of our life reflect our desire.  One way we bring glory to God is through worship.  During worship we are eager to sing (Psalm 96:19), praise (Psalm 96:4-9), pray, listen to His word being shared, commune with our brothers and sisters in Christ to remember the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins (Acts 20:7) and to give back a portion of our earnings (1 Cor. 16:2).  Our lives have been put to death and we no longer live for our selfish desires, but for the desires of God.  He is glorified when we accomplish his work (John 17:4) and seek to serve others (1 Corinthians 10:23-31).
